NURA was founded by a hijabi who fell in love with abstract chiffon designs — and then struggled to find them consistently done well.

The modestwear market felt repetitive. Designs blended together. Quality was inconsistent. Premium printed chiffon hijabs were rare.

So NURA was built to change that.

The name itself carries meaning. Inspired by Noor — light — and named in honour of the founder’s mother, a woman of strength, grace and unwavering faith, NURA represents illumination through modesty. It symbolises confidence without compromise, elegance without excess, and creativity without losing identity.
